The first 100 hours of the Women's Yoga training is for all women seeking a deep immersion in yoga philosophy and practice.
You will learn about and explore:
Daily practice incorporating themes that honor our cycles and seasons, and our unique female bodies
The art and science of alignment
Specific sadhanas, mantras, and meditations to awaken shakti and free life energy
Feminine group leadership and community building skills
Yoga History and philosophy (Tantra, Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Sutras)
Anatomy and Physiology
The goddesses of yoga and how they are relevant in your life today
Energy Anatomy (Chakras, Nadis, Bandhas)
Sanskrit 101 (Bija Mantras, Chants, Names of Poses)
Meditation and pranayama for health and radiance
Yoga for PMS, menstruation and menopause
Issues women face in today's world (Depression, anxiety, competition, the beauty myth, balance, self worth)
How to stop trying to fit in and discover what it means to truly belong
How to heal your relationships with women and dive into the depths of the sacred feminine
The second 100 hours will empower you as a Yoga Alliance registered instructor.
We will cover:
The skills to teach both vinyasa and women's yoga
To find your own voice and offer your unique gifts
How to creatively sequence classes for all levels of students
To transform the gems from your own life and practice into inspirational themes
To cultivate sensitivity as a teacher
Observation skills such as the ability to teach to what you are seeing
Tools to support women in awakening their authentic feminine power
Effective verbal cues and hands on adjustments
How to integrate partner work and group practices into your classes
About the anatomy pregnancy and what to do if a pregnant women walks into your class
To develop confidence through practice teaching
To clarify your dharma (purpose)
To cultivate presence and the capacity to listen with an open heart
Nutrition and Ayurveda for women
To recognize and release trauma

How to market yourself as a teacher
